Hey, are you in need of some motivation? I’ve got some motivational posters to share!
Guess what? I’ve finally moved my blog to WordPress!
After a couple of years (yes, years!) of putting it off, I’ve finally managed to move this blog over to WordPress!
Insert happy dance!
I know, that isn’t that exciting unless you have been through the painful process yourself. If you have, then you get it. It’s done! Hallelujah! The blog’s been entirely re-designed. If you’re reading this in a feed or through email, then click through to enjoy the new bloggy look. Here’s a preview:
The move hasn’t been without its challenges, which is expected when you DIY something like this. I’m still working through some of the hiccups. There are heaps of tutorials out there but it requires weeding through it all to figure out which is going to help the most. (Kind of like looking at homeschool curriculum, hey?)
I’ve added new categories (homeschool encouragement, full-time travel, living in Australia, roadschooling, and more!) and I’ve got heaps of new posts on the way. I’m having fun playing around with image designs, and that means I’ll eventually go back and spruce up the old posts that were transferred here You can subscribe to my email list, which I’ll get started with after I get all these hiccups ironed out and some new posts done. (If you are reading this in a feed or getting individual posts by email, that’s not the same as subscribing to the list, so be sure to click through and subscribe!)
Are you feeling motivated?
I definitely go through patches in my life where I’m really inspired by things like goal-setting, self-help books, and lovely motivational quotes. Then I go through other times where I just roll my eyes at all that, because my problems or issues are just too real to be solved by a quote or some out-of-reach goal.
With this small success of crossing this bloggy move off my to do list, I’m definitely in one of the good patches right now. And I wanted to share. I’ve made up some simple, free motivational posters. They’re perfect for the front of a binder, or you can print them out two or four to a page for a smaller size to stick in a small notebook or your kid’s lunchbox.

Which one hits you most right now? Don’t give up? Just get started? You’ve got this? Or maybe…You are loved.
We all have days where we forget we are loved. Or at least, we don’t feel loved. But you are. You are loved. Especially by these little ones that you are with pretty much 24/7, trying to homeschool them. They love you, no matter what it seems like at any given moment.
I lost my parents last year, and I’ve thought to myself many times since then that the best gift they gave me was the security of their love. They loved me. That I know.
(How did this turn into an emotional post?)

And, hey, if you are in one of those ‘my-problems-are-too-real’ patches, just pin this for later and come back when you’re ready. I won’t tell.
Psst…this is my first post since The Big Move. If you find a link that isn’t working or some other problem with the website, will you let me know? Cheers!
