Ladybug pulled down this bead stair hanger the other day and before I could get it back up on the shelf I found Jitterbug working with it. I’ve never presented it to him, we’ve only just gotten started with official math activities, but he didn’t seem to have any problem completing it. He counted out all the beads and got them hung up.
I pulled out the little number cards and showed him how they fit on top. He matched them to the beads with Ladybug looking on.
I’ve started using RightStart A with Jitterbug, the beginning lessons have been very easy, I need to get out some more activities for him. Notice the puzzle and the blocks nearby. I think we need to work on defining a work area so that they aren’t stepping all over each other. The area in front of our shelves is not that large and is difficult for both to use, we will have to start using rugs and utilising other areas of our schoolroom. Getting them to put everything they use back on the shelves would help too!

How do you like Right Start Math? Im thinking of getting it for my 6yo and 4yo to do. Level A for the 4yo and B for the 6yo.
We enjoy RS and are continuing to use it, right now my 8yo is in C and my 5yo is in A. Be aware that they've just come out with a second edition for A (with other levels scheduled to be released), I will likely switch to the second edition when my youngest is ready.
